Tamara
Gervasoni is the first Rose to represent Italy and
with her winning smile and easy-going Italian/Irish
ways won everyones heart from the start. She has had
a hectic year so far with appearance on The Late Late
Show, Up For The Match, The Den and Open House on
two occasions, she has had a fabulous photo-shoot
in VIP and features regularly in the press. Tamara
has adopted Chernobyl Children's Project as her charity
for the year and this keeps her fit (USI 10k Walk,
Operation Rudolf Crazy Chairs and gala events until
the wee small hours!!).
Tamara
was given a Fiat Stilo to drive for the year and she
can be seen out and about all over Ireland and she
has taken it to Italy where she was given a royal
welcome. The Irish Greyhound Board have presented
her with a dog "Ciao Rose of Tralee" and the proceeds
of the winnings will go to Chernobyl Children's Project.
Tamara will be keeping you updated from time to time
with her hectic schedule.
All
in all, Tamara is proving a wonderful ambassador for
our Festival, for the town of Tralee, the county of
Kerry and indeed for Ireland abroad. Bella!! Keep
up the good work!
