Club na Féile 2002 Ceol, craic agus spraoi a bhí geallta i gClub na Féile agus gan amhras sin a bhí i gceist! Idir ceol, amhránaíocht, rince 's drámaíocht bhí réimse ollmhór le feiscint ar na sráideanna agus i lár ionad na Féile, an Óstán Meadowlands.

The traditional Irish music, song, dance and language of Club na Féile attracted visitors from all corners of the globe. Tús maith leath na hoibre and what a start it was with the Dublin City Ramblers on Friday night! Among the many dignitaries present at the formal opening on Saturday morning were parents and delegates from overseas. We were honoured with the presence of Noreen Cassidy C.E.O. Festival, who is ever supportive of Club na Féile.

From relaxing lunchtime recitals to late night frenzied toe tapping each day guaranteed entertainment for all. Highlight of Sunday was the enthusiastic participation of all the Roses and Escorts who danced and sang with the support of the Abbey Céilí Band.Earlier Club na Féile hosted dinner for the Roses and Escorts after which Foras na Gaeilge presented each Rose with her name in Ogham carved in gold, much to the delight of all present.

Ní raibh an craic teoranta don Óstán féin. There was a fine slua dancing to the Abbey in the Square and Hector and Cian rapped and enthralled the late night revellers.

From New Orleans to Rós Fodhla, and all at this year's Festival, bí lán cinnte go bhfuil an Gaeilge Groovy agus Beo!
